Can I install the 5.9.901 with a rooted phone??

I am on 893, and rooted. But I haven't been able to successfully do a forever root. Can I still apply the update without screwing up my phone? Do I need to un-root first?

You can still do the 901 update without the phone turning into a paperweight, but without forever root toil be stock 901. You can use Hacker and Th3ory's release root to forever root butt you'll have to return to 886, root, forever root, then do the updates. Have you tried manually forever rooting the phone? Somewhere on youtube droidmodder x has a video on it I believe.
