Can I have Dialer One be my "Home Screen"

Is there a way to have my device start to the Dialer One app when I start my Droid? Most often, I want to dial numbers or call friends or family and I'd like my Droid to start to the Dialing App.

I like this idea. Did some searching, and came across this.

Dialer Widget for Android

I haven't tried this. I wish it was full screen like the stock dialer.
