Can I get different folders for sms and mms?

Lol, ive never seen this question before. If i may ask why do you need this feature? And to answer your question, i don't believe you can... at least to my knowledge.

You could backup your texts to a gmail account, with one of many free apps, and have them sorted to different folders manually or by filters in gmail.

Actually I use 'Backup to Gmail' app and it automatically puts sms and mms in seperate folders in gmail. No folder creation or filters needed. I just checked mine.

It still keeps a copy on the phone until you delete them also.
