Can i get an x???

Question...

I currently have a Droid 1. Contract is up early 2011, but Verizon site says I can upgrade November 2010.

News reports stated that we can upgrade now if we were due this year.

Was that tied to the contract date or upgrade date.

Has anyone done this...and was this report true?.

Best thing to do, instead of guessing, is call and ask Verizon.

Call customer service. They are the only ones who can answer that.

Usually I get better answers here, is the reason I didn't call customer Svc initially.

Well, I just called. The answer was I can't upgrade until 11/2010.

BUT, I did learn that one of my other lines is eligible for an upgrade to an x since it's currently not a smartphone.
