Can anyone answer this question?

I purchased a couple of Droid Razr Maxx phones for myself and my husband. They are Verizon phones, but we are using them with PagePlus. (I know, an expensive phone for a prepaid service, but we love the phones.) The problem was that since the phones were 4G, and PagePlus doesn't use that yet, we had to have them flashed so they would only work with 3G.

My question is, do we need to worry about an automatic update from Verizon that would return them to the original 4G operating system?

Since you are not on their network it's the same as your phone being deactivated as far as they're concerned. So you wouldn't get any updates.
