camera tempermental - why?

My camera doesn't always work. The LEDs will light, I will hear a sound effect from the shutter, but the picture doesn't take and the flash doesn't flash. Only 13 pix in storage, so thats not the issue. Any suggestions?

Are the pictures showing up as black images? If so, restart your phone and that should fix it.

Im not impressed at all with the picture quality, the worst part of the phone imo.

No. It doesn't take the picture at all. No black box, no red x, nothing.

for a couple of days my camera didn't work. I took several pics which had all the sound effects etc...but the pictures showed up as icons in the gallery. Shortly after, when I tried to start the camera, it said Oops! Camera is not working. Try again later (or something to that effect) I tried turning the phone off/on which didn't fix it, but 2 days later it works fine. I wondered if they were doing some sort of software update? (and those pictures I took, which showed up as only icons? gone, no icons, no pictures)
