Camera shutter sound

Is there anyway to turn off the camera shutter sound?
I'm running Purity.
Am I missing something obvious???

If its the AOSP camera there is no setting for it. If you want you can get the frankencam (better imo) on page 23 of the following post, you can change it with that cam and its faster. Although it wont link to the media storage via the shortcut.

I had to rename the camera sound (there are links to specific ui folder in system online) even though there was setting in ZOOM FX cam aop.

Use root explorer to go to /system/media/audio/UI and rename cameraclick.ogg and video???.ogg by adding a .bak extension.
