Camera flashing on and off

Anyone having problem with there camera flashing on and off after they choose it ? I cleared the cache a and system on the applications and I still can't get it to stop I'm trying to do everything I can before I do a factory reset because I do not wanna lose the apps I have that have been taken off the market can some one help ?? My phone is not rooted
