To fix my camera i "scrub" the lens pretty good with a nice new microfiber cloth, after doing this i get nothing but green focusing sqaures even where i would think i would be able.
It's free to try and since we are in warranty (30days) you have nothing to lose imho. I take no responsibility for this or for any damage that you might cause your droid - just be careful, worked well for me.
