Calender problem

I have downloaded and installed launcher pro and am currently using its calendar widget, and the problem I'm having is that I have to manually update the date every day. Shouldn't this be automatic? And yes I have my gmail calendar account set to automatically sync. Help please? Or is this just the way it works.

I was using it for a while and I don't remember it not keeping up w/the current date. Maybe remove it from your home screen and add it again.

thanks for the replies! i know this doesn't seem like a big problem, im still just trying to figure everything out and was just curious if anyone is having similar problems. thanks again.
