One of the biggest reasons I ever wanted a smartphone was for a good calendar. The Droid using my Google calendar is perfect, but there's a couple things I've noticed so far that I don't like. Hopefully someone knows of a workaround.

1. Is there a way to make it default to week view when you open the calendar? It's a couple clicks to switch to it. Not that big of a deal, but I'd like to not have to.

2. When an appointment reminder pops up in to my notifications, I expected to be taken to the detail when I click on that notification. That makes the notification pane disappear. What am I supposed to do?

I am using CalWidget that gives me a pretty good view of what's coming up, much better than the default calendar widget. Anyone have any other tips?

Just end at that the screen you want. It will be at that screen the next time you open. It defaults at the last screen when closed.
