Calendar question

If I'm using an online calendar (in this case Oprius), can I access it while I am on the phone with someone (if I don't also have wireless access)? Tried a test run with the home phone and couldn't tell if things were slow or really not working.

This will be the deciding factor as to whether or not I continue using Google's calendar or transfer everything over to Oprius. Would love to consolidate

Can't use data and voice at the same time. Will only work it you are connected to a wireless network.
