Google calendar & vCal ?

This is really a Google Calendar question, but I wouldn't be using Google Calendar if it wasn't for the droid.

I use an online calendar exclusively, no desktop calendar app. I periodically wind up with iCal or vCal format files sent to me by websites. Currently, the workflow for importing these is to save them locally on my computer, go to the Google Calendar website, click import, find the file, and then import it. This is annoying.

It seems like someone should have written an app by now that lets me just click on a .vcf (or whatever) file and automatically slams that event into Google Calendar, or a FireFox extension to do the same. However, I've searched pretty hard with no luck.

Does anyone know of a good way to automate this process?
