I've been hanging on to the 2.2 browser that does not have the zoom buttons (I HATE them) and have been installing it on every rom i have used.
Every time i update a ROM i have to manually go to the system/app folder, backup the browser in there, and then replace it with the 2.2 version, then have to reboot. This works great, but how do you make a .zip file that will do this in recovery? If i can get some instruction I can share this with people that don't like those (+ -) buttons on the browser.
If there is interest I can attach the .apk
