browser windows

The problem im having is I can't close browser windows. When I click on the windows button and try to push the X to close them it just opens the window instead of closing it. Iv got them to close b4 but I just have to keep tryn it. Does any1 else have this prob or know of a fix.

I've noticed this in the stock browser. It is irritating and I'm not aware of a fix. I recommend using another browser. The problem right now is that I can't recommend a trustworthy browser that I really like to use on Android. Some people like Opera Mobile, Firefox. (Dolphin HD 7.02 may have spyware removed.)

I think it's a D3/Gingerbread issue, because I've noticed the same thing, but had no problems whatsoever on my D1. I have noticed that if I try to make sure I only press the red circle part, it closes the window instead of loading it. It is annoying though, for sure.
