Browser problem

We are running a web based work order system. The problem is it needs internet explorer 5.5 sp 3 or better. Is there and android addon or browser that will run on the droid to emulate ie?

What's the specific requirement that necessitates IE 5.5 SP3+? It's difficult to answer without such info.

You can try another browser that has a user agent setting to see if that helps (i.e. if it's just a matter of how the browser identifies itself to the web server). xScope and Dolphin are a couple.

I am not sure what the specific requirement is. I have tried Opera Mini and get the same eror message looking for ie 5.5 or better.

I have a related problem. I am using my HTC Thunderbolt as a tether to connect my laptop to the internet. Whenever I try to access videos on Netflix, or run microsoft updates I get the message "This site requires internet explorer 5.5 sp 3 or better". I'm running IE8 on my laptop so it has to be something on my driod causing the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
