I had the DX since release, and had it perfectly fine up until recently when the charging port wouldn't work anymore it was bent out of shape on the inside. But everything else worked fine. With handcent I had a custom vibration of 0,2000,500,2000 it would be a very long vibration with a subtle pause, then another long vibration.
I used my asurion insurance to replace it because I got tired of wrapping the wire around the phone to get a charge in. The new phone I got for some reason vibrates very weird. It has a jerky pause in the vibration if i set it over anything over 1000 (still using handcent) it seems to happen at every 1000 intervals. So having it at 2000, 500, 2000 it would buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz break buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz pause.....buzzzzzzzzzzzzz break buzzzzzzzzzz
Its VERY annoying. Is this a hardware problem or maybe a software file somewhere?
Im guessing "newer" batches of the Droid X were made a lil different has worst vibrate pieces.
