broken "ON" switch

redearth

New Member
I have a thunderbolt. I dropped it last night on the edge of the driveway and it smashed the "on" switch into the phone. I can't turn the phone on now. Anyone have any idea on how to turn it on so I can get a few photos that are still in the internal memory and not on the mini sd card? I tried to hook it to my computer, but I get the divice not found message.
thanks.

tried hooking to power

I tried hooking to the power supply. The charging light comes on, but the screen is still off. I tried hooking with the usb cable to my PC, but still no luck. I will be ok not getting the few pics I had in memory - most of them were on the mini sd card. My concern now is wiping the phone of passwords and other data. Any ideas on how to do that with no power?
