Broken after update

Hello,
I just updated my Droid X via System Upgrade, after the install I get my phone back and no widgets were working- so I tried to get to my text inbox... freeze. restart, same thing...
and the dialer isn't working.
sorry for the bad descriptions, but I'm sort of freaking out as I need my phone to work for school/work!
Anyone have a fix?

Take it to a factory Verizon store and have them reflash 2.2.
