Bring Galaxy S11 From S Korea?

Like a lot of people here, I'm getting tired of waiting for either the Galaxy or Bionic to drop. I'm heading to Seoul and I'm wondering if it makes sense to bring a Samsung Galaxy S 11 back - would I be able to add it to Verizon network?

You'd have to find out what type of signal Korea uses, but I'm guessing it's GSM. Even if it isn't, don't know if it would work here in the states.

IIRC CDMA is more common in South Korea but there is GSM coverage as well. The standard warning of "consider the bands you need" applies.
