brightness 2.2.1 and build prop

Any way to set the brightness in build.prop so it does not change, like a forced set ?

I don't think you'd need to do a build.prop tweak for brightness if you're talking about phone brightness. Simply go to

settings -> Display settings -> Press "Brightness" -> Disable ''Automatic brightness'' -> set how bright you want the screen

i know how to do that, problem is when u set it to where u want it, when the screen shuts off, when u turn it back on the brightness is full blown again, im using adjbrightness for now, but id rather do a build.prop edit. apprently its a problem in 2.2.1

If you download and use "Switch Pro Widget" from the market, you can specify a tab for brightness and it can be set in 10% increments. It will not change on screen shutoff/on
