Well guys look likes this one gonna be a photo finish!!!! Success my droid x has life after being deceased for over 48 ours!!!!!!!

Though there might be an update.zip or something kicking around I wouldn't try it if there's another way.

Good luck and make sure you're following the directions. The X isn't like a D1, unfortunately.

ok ok i c..now do i jus download this anywhere on the phone? an do i hav to use bootstrap cant i jus hold the power button an home an do update.zip from there?

You can't install non-stock update.zip files from stock recovery.

However, this is once again above my pay grade. :) Just follow the instructions in that thread and you'll be fine.
