Bricked Droid 2 Global (A956)

Hi guys,

I have a Droid 2 thats stuck in bootloader with a "Corrupt Code" error. I followed the guide outlined: [How-to] [SBF] unbricking & root D2g 629 - Droid 2 / R2D2 / Milestone 2 / Droid 2 Global - RootzWiki

But now I'm still stuck in bootloader with no error messages. Anyone have any ideas on what I should try next?

did you wipe cache or data

I can't get into recovery. The phone will not go passed the bootloader

pull battery, press and hold x, replace battery, power on

It won't boot into recovery, the screen stays black but lit for as long as I hold power + x then as soon as I let go, it goes into bootloader.

Also, I just realized I posted in the wrong section, sorry about that.

these are instructions you followed

1.Use RSD to flash offical 608 sbf(dont worry about downgrade,it will unbrick after the next step)
2.Use RSD to flash this repacked 629 sbf(it will flash 629 BL=2 signed boot,recovery,cdt)
3.reboot to recovery,wipe data&cache(Not required if you have important data in it,but if you stuck at bootanimation loop then you have to wipe it)
4.use superoneclick to grant root access(or any zergrush script)
5.install otarootkeeper(can be found in play store,it's free),backup su,then unroot
6.reboot to recovery,reapply 629 OTA update.zip,reboot.

if so just that is old method before we had full 629 SBF or a way to root
try the full .629 sbf

download, verify md5 check sum, unzip with 7zip, flash with RSD Lite 5.7

or use ezSBF & Root 2.3.4/ 4.5.629

These links are not working for me. Is there updated info about this subject. I'm having the same problem?
