Bought my Mom a Xoom

I got the e-mail from Verizon about their Black Friday deals so I decided to pick one up for my mom since she puts too much strain on her eyes while using the tiny iPhone 4. I am not planning on rooting or doing anything to the tablet since it's solely for her (and my dad) I just want to know from Xoom users about their experience. Is it a reliable steady tablet? No constant freezes, force close or reboots? This is the first tablet I've purchased and I just want to feel assured it'll be a no hassle experience for her.
