Bootstrap/titanium questio

I just rooted my phone tonight and backed up everything using bootstrap and titanium. 90% of why I wanted to root was to get rid of the bloatware, but I seem to recall some one saying I should freeze it so I can return to factory settings. Can I delete it from the phone and still have a copy on the card? Also I have my factory system saved to bootstrap. What happens to that backup if I start playing with new ROMs?

If you delete the bloat, your phone won't accept any updates later. Even after I reinstalled what I thought was all the factory garbage, I couldn't get the last up date. Luckily, I bricked it, figured out what an sbf was, then maderscock saved me, PLUS, I got my phone to install the update. Definitely freeze it.
