So I got Root Explorer;
put the zip file for a cool boot animation on my SD card;
renamed the new zip "bootanimation.zip";
found the original bootanimation.zip file in /system/media;
but when I long press on it to move it or rename it, it tells me the action can't be completed because the file is read-only.
Long pressing on permissions gives me the same message: "permissions can't be changed because the file is read-only".
What am I doing wrong?
TIA as always
