I saw the word "root explorer", not sure I have that.


EDIT: OK, I know what Root exploer is and I'm ok with buying it. My first question stil stands however. Will root explorer allow me to do this without actually rooting my phone?

I have a question? Why does it take like 2 min literally, for my phone to boot up? It also takes like 30 secs to shut down..does this have anything to do with what I'm running (SC2.9.2) or are all rooted phones slow to boot

It sucks but Megaupload was shut down and the majority of the links posted on your page are gone completely...they looked great too

Here's what you'll need to do to get custom boot/shutdown animations and/or sounds on your phone:
FOR ONES THAT ARE NOT FLASHABLE!!!!!!

1. Boot animation -- Add "bootanimation.zip" file to /system/media directory. To use any of the animations mirrored above, you'll have to rename the file to "bootanimation.zip" and then place it in the /system/media directory.

2. Shutdown animation -- Add or replace all .png files in /system/media/video/shutdown directory. To use any of the animations mirrored above, you'll have to extract all .png files in the .zip file to the /system/media/video/shutdown directory.

3. Startup sound -- Replace "PowerOn.wav" file in /system/etc directory with a .wav file of your choice. Just be sure to name it "PowerOn.wav".

4. Shutdown sound -- Replace "shutdown.ogg" file in /system/media/audio/ui directory with an .ogg file of your choice. Just be sure to name it "shutdown.ogg".


Most all have not been repacked for CWM3.. if it says flash in recovery - it is CWM2.x... if there is not any notation for flashing - it must be copied from the sdcard to the system/media file.
(if there is a link that is down please pm me and I will clear it.) - This resource list is long....
