Blocking ads on CM7?

Anybody find a good app to block ads on CM7? I tried root tools, liberty toolbox (Still useful even when not on liberty), and the extras section of Android Overclock but none of them block ads like they should. Anybody know of a good ad blocker, preferably free?

i tried android overclock and it didnt do the trick for me using anonymous but that doesnt mean it doesnt work in for other apps with ads. ad blocking uses a host file to block hosts that have ads on them. it doesnt block all hosts that have ads because there are just way to many to do that so your results may very

I use adfree android app from the market and it seems to do a great job.

Thanks guys, picked up adfree and it works great. Doesn't block them all but it comes close!

Adfree works decently. Currently I'm using DroidWall (firewall app) to prohibit particular apps from accessing the network. Gets rid of the ads in Angry Birds wonderfully!
