Blinq launcher need help

I love blinq launcher but can't figure out how to remove unwanted app shortcuts and widgets from home screen on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Long press on items does nothing and I do not see any other way to remove them....

This may seem silly but have you tried clearing cache....? Pulling your battery and restarting your phone may help too.....

This may also seem silly, but are you long pressing them (Press and hold) before you try to drag them?

I am holding before dragging as with any other launcher b I've ever tried but I have not tried clearing the cache. I have pulled the battery as I have to do at least 2 battery changes a day or I lose power. Oh the days when my note 3 was new and a single full battery lasted all day. Seems forever ago...

Have you checked your launcher settings. I know with Apex & Nova Launcher, there's a setting that locks your desktop so you can't accidentally move/delete an app icon while in your pocket, purse, or if someone else uses your device.
This feature may have been activated on your device.

Note 3 batteries are cheap. Replace your old one with a new one.

I LOVE BLINQ! Itotally recommend it. I love that it has a lot of customization and it seriously has speeded up my phone. I used to have a nasty lag problem as well. Blinq has solved all that and looks great too!

Does it have gestures? I may have to give this a try....been looking for something new.

It does. The pro version you can set as many gestures as you would like and access them from any app or anywhere on your phone. You must select the gesture anywhere option setting and turn it on. You will have a floating icon always on your screen. Tap and draw your gesture. You can set gestures to connect to anything you want from the settings. That is my favorite feature as well as the app drawer transition has a ton of options.
