Blinking light

Is there a way to disable the blinking light notification when I get a new email? I want it to still show up on the notification bar and I want the light to continue to blink when I miss calls, get a text, etc, just not when I get email.

I'm using a Motorola Droid, not rooted and the standard email client.

Welcome! Good to have you with us. Open your email app, tap menu, tap settings, tap notification. I believe there is a led notification that you can uncheck

Thanks but there isn't an option to turn off the LED notification. The only option is to turn off the notifications that are in the status bar...

If you want to be notified but not get the light you will need to use k9 email. It gives you more options.

Sorry, I use K9 and it is available in that app.
