bionic. lock screen will not stay off

My lock screen will just light up at random stay on for a second then turn back off has done this since I got the phone anybody have any ideas

I'm having the same issue. I've noticed it before, but it went away.
The other day I installed juice defender for about an hour. I noticed it made my screen turn on and off, so I uninstalled it. I've restarted, cleaned dalvik cache. Any other ideas? It's annoying, and uses up the battery.

What setting were you using? Balanced shouldn't have been too bad. Aggressive is, well just that, aggressive. It will turn things on and of at will looking to save every drop of energy it can.

Since moving to ICS, I don't use juice defender. I use smart actions.

I used balanced for about 20 minutes and then un installed it. The screen turns on and off while phone is locked/idle.
