BIG Shocker! Bezel-less Phones Crack Easily!

The Mi MIX was released last week. The big excitement was the inclusion of a bezel-less display which takes up 93% of the front of the phone. The screen looked amazing, but some folks began to argue that one great feature of a bezel is the shock absorption it provides. Depending on the glass if a phone is dropped and lands on its corner or side it is likely to crack no matter how large the bezel is. Just try dropping your Galaxy S7 or Pixel. That being said thanks to the video above we know that bezel-less display are also susceptible to cracking. Go figure!

This is only an issue for folks who like to keep their device nekkid. A tempered glass screen protector & a case will easily solve this problem. Since I use both, my future S8 will be fine.

I saw on Facebook the other day that lg has panels that can interlock..no bezel they fold and do some cool things..I bet they break too,but they fold..like 90 degree angles.. and are fine...

i image it would be a case similar to the ones used on the Galaxy Edge Phones. But if the Glass is inferior it would only help so much.

Ha funny how I can remember them saying 'oh gorilla glass ___ is sooo much stronger than its predecessor, yet it still breaks. What a pot of crock... Smh smh lol
