It was only about a week ago that Android released Android 4.4.3 and today they have released Android 4.4.4. There are really no new features as this is pretty much a security update. You may be thinking that this has to be to patch TowelRoot by Geohot but it turns out that this is not the case. Instead this update patches an OpenSSL early CCS issue which could lead to man in the middle attacks. It looks like it is time to go get out the suite of Nexus device and begin updating as the 4.4.4 updates have already hit the Over The Air Waves. You should be able to head to your settings, about phone, and then check for updates as long as you are all stock with no custom recovery you will be able to install this security fix. Head to the link below for the full change log.
