I'm a total neewbie to all this. I want to get the bgx theme on my phone. I rooted it via z4root app off the market. What's next to get this awesome theme on my phone? Not looking for custom roms or anything. Thats way over my head now. I'm still learning.

Read here to install 928 Deodexeerr. But skip the root instructions, Z4Root from market to root your phone is the way to go. Make sure you read up on "unbricking" at the bottom flashing the SBF and be ready to do so if you screw up. Download and install everything to your computer first (SBF and RSDlite and Motorola drivers)then mess with your Droid.
