Bettercut Question

I purchased Bettercut last night and was fiddling around with it and had a couple of questions.

1. Whenever I try to "make my own" icons...I get Forced Closed..

2. How do I customize my other icons like Faceboook, Astrid, Map Icon..etc....or would i have to be rooted to do so.

I have untill about 9pm EST to decide whether or not to UNinstall it and get a refund.

Try this.

1. Put the shortcuts you want on your home screens\
2. go to the market and do a search for ibox icons and download a free icon pack (or another you like, you can always delete it)
3. After those are installed, open bettercut and at the screen where you choose "new shortcut" or "Edit shortcut", select edit
4. A list of your current shortcuts will come up with their current icons and text.
5. Select one and then select "Change Icon"
6. If a pop up shows up, select From Icon Pack, then select the pack you downloaded (it may go automatically if you only have one)
7. Pick an icon and select it
8. Once back to the screen where you select to change icon, you can change the texct
9. Once you're through, click Create.
10. Exit out to home and your icon should be changed.

Easy as that, repeat as necessary or as often as you like.
