Best Programming for Converting iTunes for Droid?

So I want to convert all my iTunes to a format I can put on my Droid. But's the best program to do this? Free would be great. Also, will the program strip the DRM from the files?

iTunes tells you how to do this. You have to burn the songs to a CD and then rip them back off.

It's not free but I use Tunebite and it works GREAT. It will convert any audio into any format, same with vids, and will even rip audio from video. Has TONS of settings including a volume leveler (i.e. will make all conversions the same base volume).
