While reading articles written in regards to various devices being benchmarked you often see comments such as "Benchmarks don't mean everything." or even "That OEM has artificially inflated their benchmarks before."

As you can see in the following video the S6 Edge puts those comments to rest by breezing through the opening of every app on the phone with amazing results.

It also showcases some of the new features that have been implemented into Touch Wiz and it shows some apps that have been completely redesigned.

That video shows nothing. It's just opening and closing apps. Big deal.

It's more than just opening apps. They open faster than any phone I've ever seen...fully loaded. Even the recents menu has zero lag which is a common denominator on the last series of phones.

This video also dispells the edgegate accusation that has been making its rounds online. People are saying that the edges of the screen are unresponsive to touch though you can see him activating the favorite contacts by swiping from the edge inwards.

Benchmarks are benchmarks. The video is real world and looks to be the fastest phone I have seen to date.
