Beep/Tone during calls

I can't seem to find a cause for a beep/tone during calls. My razr is only a day old, I haven't made many calls from it.

Happens to me to. Sometimes I think it is when a text comes in while I am making a call but I can't confirm that.

Funny you mentioned this. I just experienced it this morning and I immediately checked my phone to see if something had come in and nothing had. The tone is subtle, but it was enough to make me check the phone...

I hear the same. Tone/beep is same tone when you receive a text but often times I hear it when I have no text/email/etc.

Yes, no incoming text, email, anything. Turned off wifi,everything same tone.

Is it possible you have the data roaming sound enabled and it's coming through your calls as a beep? Total shot in the dark.

Thought about that too, stopped all back ground data. It still tones, searching online no info so far.

I've had my Razr since November 23rd and my wife has had her's since November 28, and neither of us have never experienced the beep tone you referred to. The only time I hear a beep is when an incoming call alert is sounded while already on a call. Otherwise, I hear the "DROID", alert when either email or text comes in since that's the alert sound I've chosen for both. For her, I have all alerts turned off except her Yahoo email, and she is using TextFree for texting so that's set up as well.

Same here, Droid tone is set up for email, text and what not. It doesn't happen on every call. Puzzling, enigma it is.
