Beautiful Widgets Surprise??

Love the wallpaper. Couple of requests/suggestions hope there will be a way to make thunderstorms a little more violent like have rain hit the back of the screen make the grass blow more. It just seems during the thunderstorm its like a rain storm nothing to it. i know this is beta and totally love this. i hope someone will make a weather screen skin that takes away the current weather so you can apply it when you have the live wall running. its kinda redundant with two suns.

Did you have to call up Verizon to re-authorize your phone after your factory reset? Or was it ready to go right away?

you go through the set up again. It takes a while but no need to deal with Verizon. it calls a number by itself and runs through the process.

I backed up all my apps and data with mybackup pro and astro. Some of the apps were not recognized by MBP but astro got them all. All the data was from MBP. I also use more icons and apps organizer but they were all saved by MBP.

Again it's painful if you have a lot of customizations and things saved. Takes a long time to reinstall all that stuff.

If you just want the live wallpaper I would suggest you first delete the cache of the market, battery pull, then delete the market update of the app. before data reset. The market app update reinstalled for me after a few hours but it sure makes the market slow for a while. There is no way to force update the market app. I ended up battery pulling again after this and it worked much better.

my fix for this was downloading a weather skin, opening it up in paint.net (or photoshop or gimp... whatever's easier), erasing the picture, leaving me with a blank "picture" and using that as my weather background. works well

I'm sending a "Blank Weather" to Tama so he can add it to the Skins list.

Looking forward to seeing this. I love the new Live Weather, but don't need to see two suns (unless I'm on Tattooine).

i still don't see it on the market, and going through BW settings menu it comes up with nothing when i click the button. dev said on twitter he's gonna post the apk tomorrow so hopefully he does that and i can finally try this out.

I had same problem. Go to settings, manage applications, choose the market app. Empty the cache and uninstall the updates. Turn phone off then on, open up the market app, and search for levelup. Choose beautiful live wallpaper.

alright i'll give that a shot. i already emptied the market cache but i didn't know if i should uninstall the updates or not. i'll let you know how that works out. thanks for the tip.

That was the first thing I noticed too. I love the wallpaper though.

that did it. market runs pretty slow now but i guess that'll catch up as it updates itself again. but the LWP is there now. thanks.

Clear Cache + Uninstall market updates
Restart phone
Check market again
