I have both downloaded(LWP and BW): problem is they are not talking to each other. When I try to configure in BW to enable LWP, it asks me to DL the wallpaper from the market. When I try to configure the LWP by pressing on the home screen and choosing it from the LWP list on the phone, it tells me that I need BW installed to get live updates.....oh well. Will wait until someone figures it out.

I haven't messed with the LWP yet, but is anyone with the MotoDroid still having any issues with Geolocation working for the weather? Seems when I enable that my weather never updates and it won't put the temp in the status bar? Is this a bug or my phone? I use helix launcher I, maybe that doesn't like it?
hah, yeah... we're just now entering into our "never rains, always sunny/hot" season in texas - wish this had come out earlier so we could've seen some storms and snow 
I was having the same issue with the wallpaper not talking to BW - this fixed it for me:
go into Beautuful Widgets settings (tap on the BW weather icon, hit the menu button and select "Configure") after you have the wallpaper installed and on your screen, scroll down to the bottom, and click on "Save and Apply"
When you exit out, it should be correctly showing the weather on the LWP.
(This is on a stock Droid)

...or even better it should simply "overlay" which ever normal livewallpaper you chose....not sure if that is possible.
I would be happy with the 2.1 Sense weather animation overlay that pops up for a few seconds every time you come out of standby.
Nope - still not working. Everytime i go into LW and click settings - it wants me to "Unlock" it to connect to BW - and if you click on that i takes you to the Market. It is not recognizing i have BW bought and paid for.
That "unlock" buttom will never change. The communication between BW and the LWP is automatic. Once you refresh the weather in BW (automatically or manually) it will activate.
BTW, from opening the app and looking at it, it may be possible to use it over any LiveWallpaper....
There are no images in the BW LWP app for the grass LWP so I am confident it is just overlaying over the stock version.
Maybe Tama will offer the option to chose which LWP is used for the background, or maybe a button for "use current LWP background"...looks to be just an XML code change.
