Beautiful Widgets Surprise??

After downloading an update, there's a Live Wallpaper Weather option in the settings now but the link to add them doesn't work.

^This link seems to have just been enabled. Just downloaded and installed.

The app and the live wallpaper does not be talking to each other. Under settings in Live wallpaper it tells me that inorder to have live weather conditions I need beutiful widget installed, although I already have it. When I try to use settings in Beautiful widgets to apply the live wallpaper it links me to the download although I have it downloaded already. Any suggestions?

Link doesn't work. Sounds like the surprise was a little premature. Kinda like 2.1 was with Moto.

I'd say don't worry about that unlock button. All I did was hit the download from market button, downloaded it, and turned it on. I did press the unlock button but it mentions that it shows only cloudy if you don't have bw installed. And my wall paper seems to be showing sunny skies, which is consistent with the widget and the actual sky outside. I'll do another test in a minute and see if I can come up with a different condition.

Its working for me. Check the current US weather map and look for a spot with weather different than yours to test it.

his twitter page is saying that its only an issue with moto droids... there not finding the lwp in the market

Found it. Didn't do a search for it, but instead I went to the Beautiful Widgets app on the market and then select "View more applications".

He's working to find a fix, his milestone isn't seeing it either. I think it's only affecting stock phones.

LW does not work for me. Changed location to a rainy/stormy area - BW changed fine - Wallpaper still shows sunny. Waited for 5-10 minutes, tried to force update - still nothing.

IN Wallpaper it says can get info from BW - click on that it goes to market - says "Installed" and still nothing.

Might be nice if this gets working.
