Beautiful Widgets or Weather and Toggle

I'm in the market to buy my very first app, so should it be BW or W&T Widgets....

I can't wait to have the nice big weather and clock stuff.... waiting on your replys though.

Also, do either one of these allow for icon changing?

I have BW and think it is a very nice app. It has a number of different skins. Try it for a day and if you don't like it return and your account will not be charged. read the return policy so you are aware of the time limit.

I got anxious and went ahead and bought Beautiful Widgets... I do not regret is so far. Very slick, very nice widgets.... A+

I bought BW as well. Can't live without it! I actually uninstalled my favorite home replacement because I thought it was having lag issues with bw. Haha! Just figured out today it wasn't a bw issue at all, so now I've got my favorite clock/weather AND home!

The dev keeps adding awesome features for personalization as well!!!

The only thing I've seen to customize stuff is the skins, did I miss something?

BW is quite an awesome app.... will make me look into buying other apps this highly recommended.

Tap the lower right where the sun, moon, clouds etc are. This will open a new screen with four day forecast. Tap menu, tap configure. There are several settings you can modify, Select any changes scroll to the bottom and tap apply.

I've looked at both but prefer Weather & Toggle, I only use the flip clock/weather widget.


I don't use any of the toggle widgets, the stock "power strip" is fine for me.

I have both...My Thoughts

I have both...Weather Widget Donate (WWD) and Beautiful Widgets (BW)

I switch between the two depending on the look I want.

The main widget layout is a little different for each but ss far as functionality they do the same thing:

They both tell weather and time
You can tap on different parts of the widget to launch apps of your choosing
They both have weather animation
They are both "skinable"
They both allow you to have transparent backgrounds
They both come with additional widgets for system toggles (bluetooth, wifi, silent etc)

WWD has an option to just show weather with no clock.
WWD allows you to skin the weather AND the clock separately
WWD allows you to view local weather cameras
BW has an option for a smaller Widget with clock and weather.
BW allows you to change the font color (I do not believe that WWD allows for this yet)

Personally:

I think that WWD flip clocks look better than BW.
I think that BW weather animation looks better than WWD.
I perfer BW for the non-flipclock look
BW has a better skinning tool...comes with preview pictures and is more user friendly
WWD had less skins but the ability to skin the weather is handy for themeing purposes
Both Developers are really good. They are both churning out TONS of updates.

Same here, the early on complaints were that he didnt update it often, that has changed and the updates come regularly and get better all the time.

Even has "local" webcams to check the weather, lol.

I have Beautiful Weather Widget... How come I can not Change the Skins when changing from Weather skins and Clock Skins? The time changes, but the skins DO NOT CHANGE?
