Beats Headphones Volume Control not working!

I just got beats solo hds and noticed tht while listening to music the volume buttons and center button won't do anything with my phone. Anyone know if there's a way to fix this or if the control buttons on beats only work with an iPhone?

Btw I have Beat Solo HDs with the iControl buttons. The physical button is fine and intact but it doesn't change the volume, song, etc..

I am not aware of any built-in support for buttons on wired headsets in the Moto phones, but this app claims to do the same function.
