Battery useage

So I'm charging my D2G tonight and I notice that it is taking forever.

So I go in to see what is eating my battery and it is Voice Calls.

Um, so I can figure out how to shut it down. Any clues? It is eating up 60% of my battery usage. Next in line is my Display which is only 6%

thanks in advance

60% sounds pretty excessive--what is telling you this is the case, a battery monitor app or the stock setup?

I guess it's probably not an excessive stat then--mine shows 33% usage for Voice Calls since charge this morning and I've only made a few quick ones this evening. Display is runner up at 22% to your 6%--had navigation running on the drive in so that might be why...

I don't think this is something you need or want to shut down as far as the voice calls; I'd be very surprised if it was causing your phone to charge slower than normal. Check the stat next cycle w/ out making many calls if you can--if it's still showing 60+% maybe there is something going...

I'm thinking now that I was seeing a reading that was from earlier. Like now I look at it and the only thing eating up battery is Cell Standby, then phone Idle. So I must have not been looking at something that was current.
Well, it just had me worried and I'm just trying to watch battery life.
