If you are still in your "try and buy" phase, I would return it regardless of a reset fix. It's the type of problem that can rear its ugly head again later and should not be happening in the first place. If you go past the initial 30 days then you might have to deal with getting a refurbished warranty replacement. In my past experience, the refurbished phones have a terrible track record for reliability but it has been a long time since I had to turn in a phone.
