Basebands

Ok... so I got a Droid 2 for Christmas and I've been reading that changing your baseband may help with reception problems. From what I understand you grab the baseband you want, name it update.zip, and stick it in the root of your SD card, then I should be able to use rom manager to install it. Problem is I did that, phone rebooted, and still has the same old baseband :blink: Currently the phone has BP_C_01.09.07P but I was hoping to downgrade that to 01.43.01P. What am I doing wrong?

^I believe you're trying to flash a D1 baseband.

That would certainly present a problem :blush: Are there any basebands for the D2 that people have had better luck with?
