Backslash on Droid RAZR keyboard?? PLEASE HELP

I work for an ISP/e-mail hosting company and have been trying to help one of our customers set up his Hosted Exchange (corporate sync) email account on his new Droid Razr. We are not in the same city and are trying to do this all over the phone. He is not very tech savvy and cannot find how to enter the backslash (\) to finish entering the necessary information. I've tried to find pictures online but have been unsuccessful in tracking down this special character. Can someone PLEASE help??

If they're using Swype, tap the =@# key (2nd from the left on bottom), then press and hold the forward slash key (/), 2 to the left of the question mark.

If they're using the stock keyboard, tap the ?123 key, then Alt and it's on the bottom row, 3rd from the right.
