Backing up Contacts

Is there an app out there that will backup your contacts with their assigned ringtones & pictures? Thanks in advance.

Google backs up your contacts. It does not back up ring tones or pictures, they are on the SD card. Your computer can back that up.

I have an issue with the backup...

If I change or add a contact to my phone it does not show up on my computer.

But if I change or add a contact to the computer it shows up on my phone.

I even took my phone to the verizon store and they couldn't figure it out.

I had them check out all my settings and it seems fine..

Anyone have any ideas????

Do you have autosync on? If not then try manually syncing your contacts and then see if they change on your conputer. Home, menu, settings, account's, click on your gmail account, then click on the contacts tab to sync.

yeah did all that.

Just did some surfing and it seems a lot of people have this issue,

It seems to reside in the google software, I found a couple of things to try..

If I can get it to work, I will report back.

fixed.....

I had to go through all my contacts and all contacts, one at a time and fix any errors.

Of which there were many, duplicates phone numbers, duplicate contacts etc.

Now my sync works both ways again :icon_ banana:
