Back to stock from MIUI, no system updates

I have a spare Droid X that I flashed MIUI on, and am selling it now, and need to get it back to stock. I SBF'd it to Froyo, and everything went fine...except that the "System Updates" option in Settings->About Phone is not available (greyed out). I've SBF'd back from CM7 a number of times and never had this problem. Any suggestions?

They did the gingerbread upgrade for only a number of droids at a time I think

Is the phone activated? I would guess that no internet connection equals no connection to the update server. Try turning on wifi and see what happens
