Was running liberty and wanted to start over. I loaded up RSD and flashed the full 340 OTA sbf. After rebooting it sat at the animation screen for a half hour. I did a battery pull and tried again, same thing.

I loaded up RSD again and thought I'd try to reflash but now the start button is greyed out. The device shows up on port 1 and detects usb port type and status connected. After selecting the SBF though, the start button is still greyed out.

I tried downgrading to rsd 4.7, then updating to 4.9, tried installing the latest drivers from moto and experience the same thing - device shows up but start button greyed out. I've sbf'ed a half dozen times before and loaded more roms than I can remember - where did I go wrong here?

EDIT: Was a little trigger happy - a factory reset got the phone booted after the SBF. Yay.

Glad to hear I almost always forget that on doing a factory reset after SBFing is it just me not remembering but I could of sworn that was unnecessary on my D1
